Orlando Day 1

We spent the week in Orlando last week, for a much overdue family vacation. It was perfect! Orlando is the perfect place to go for a family vacation (in my opinion). There is something for everyone and it's so magical for kids. We also lucked out with awesome weather the whole week we were there.

Swimming at the Resort

The Resort we stayed at was called Liki Tiki Village. It was so fun. The pool there is huge and has 5 waterslides. We literally swam all day without getting bored.

Jayna dumped half the pool water out with her bucket.

And the other half she dumped on my head to "wash my hair".

Our flight got in at 11:30 the night before, so it was so nice to just relax at the pool all day. And it was hot enough that we could swim all day too.

Orlando Day 2

Sea World

This was the hottest day all week. It was 97 F, humid and really sunny. You can tell from all our pictures we were roasting. We didn't stay very long because the kids were getting a little too hot.
These fans were actually decent and kept them distracted while we were waiting for the Shamu show in the middle of the day.

Aaahh!

Waiting for Shamu

The best family picture we got all week

Feeding the sharks

As soon as they threw one in the sharks would swarm to it

In the shark tunnel

Kepler loved it!

Petting the stingrays.

We love Sea World! I think it's one of the best parks.

Orlando Day 3

DISNEY WORLD!

It really is the happiest place!
We picked the perfect day to go. It wasn't that crowded, we didn't have to wait in line for rides at all. And it was cloudy, so it wasn't as hot, although we were still roasting.

We saw Snow White as soon as we walked in and there was no line yet, it was perfect!

First ride on the carousel

We tried to go on Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and see Mickey's Philharmagic but they were a little too scary (for our kids). So we played it safe after that.

My little sweetie, I love this boy! He was so good all day. Even after being dragged around so his big sister could meet all the princesses, he was still smiling.

Belle picked Jayna to help out with her story time. Jayna was excited, but so shy and nervous up on the stage.

Jayna & Belle

She loved meeting the Fairy Godmother, as you can see.

"Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"

The teacups were a hit with both kids

*Sigh* Cinderella!

Kepler was too scared to go up to any characters, but we was happy when Cinderella waved at him, he loves Cinderella too!

Belle
&
Sleeping Beauty

Jayna was so excited to meet Mickey, but I thought she'd be scared of him once she got close. She wasn't scared at all, she loved meeting him just as much as the princesses!

Kepler was too scared to get his own picture, even though now he's obsessed with Mickey.

Jayna's most prized possession, her book with all the autographs of the characters she met.

She thought if she made funny faces at the Stepsisters they would laugh and be happy...it didn't work. So she told them to be nice to Cinderella.

Minnie's House

Another ride on the Carousel

Funny story about this picture. At this show they're yelling "Dreams Come TRUE!" and getting everyone to yell it with them. So when we got on the airplane from Denver to Edmonton, Jayna yelled so loud "Everyone say Dreams come true! 1 - 2 - 3 DREAMS COME TRUE!" Gibb and I were dying laughing along with half the airplane.

Hanging out with Tinkerbell

Wondering who this creepy guy is

Kepler riding the magic carpet ride, I'm so proud!

Getting dizzy on teacups again

Race cars!

Magic Carpets was their favourite ride, I think we ended up riding it 4 times that day, and luckily there was never a line for it!

Disney World was such an exhausting day, but so worth it. It was really fun and Jayna loved meeting all the characters. That was the only thing she really cared about. She chose to meet characters over going on rides or doing anything else, and it was so magical because in her mind she actually met the real characters, not someone dressed up like it. I think she was the perfect age for it! And Kepler had fun too, he loved going on rides!
