February 2007

Jayna is 5 months old and is becoming so much fun. We love trying to find new ways to try to make her laugh and smile. She loves hearing funny noises. She had her first solid food this month, if you can call it that.

Jayna and Grandma Kathy in London

At the beginning of the month we went to London for Nathan's baby blessing, what a little cutie!

Jayna loves her bouncy bouncer from Auntie Jo

Poor Jayna looks so uncomfortable in her car seat when she's all bundled up to go outside, I don't think she could move if she tried.

One of the major highlights from this month was a visit from my best friend, Aleccia.
We had so much fun, as usual and took hundreds of pictures of Jayna.

 Daddy's Little Girl

At 5 1/2 months, Jayna had her first solid food, rice cereal! She didn't really know what to do with it at first and pushed it out with her tongue. But after a few days she figured it out and now she loves it! She's well on her way to becoming such a big girl, sigh...

Snow Angel

We've been getting so much snow in Cleveland this month. I guess we're making up for the amazing weather we had this fall. Finally today it wasn't too freezing so we went outside to "play" in the snow. I think Jayna and I would both rather hibernate for a few more weeks until it melts.

Happy Valentine's Day

Today in Cleveland we had a SNOW DAY!!Can you believe it? Gibb and I were trying to remember the last time we had ever had a snow day. Definitely not since elementary school, and we never thought we would ever get a snow day after High School. We did have tons of snow though, as you can see, and it turned out to be a great day to have a snow day. We got to spend Valentine's Day altogether!

Gibb was not so excited about shoveling the driveway.

She is definitely our little sweetie!

Photo Shoot

When Aleccia and I were in High School we loved taking pictures... of ourselves! How embarrassing is that?!? We would change into a bunch of different outfits and take a whole roll of film of ourselves in one night (that was before the days of digital cameras). Looking back I think that most of these pictures are now just cheesy and embarrassing, but still great memories. So of course when she came to visit this week-end we had to do a photo shoot for Jayna. It was so much fun, for us. And I think that the pictures turned out so cute. Who knows maybe in 10 years Jayna will think they are cheesy and embarrassing, but they are definitely great memories!
