New Year's Eve we had a party for the kids early, did a countdown around 8:00 pm and then we got to party!

Wow, staying up until 1 am every day for 2 weeks really starts to take it's toll.
The 4 1/2 hour drive home the next morning was a little rough, but it's always worth it in the end!

We had so much fun staying with Grandma and Grandpa, and having tons of cousins around to play with!

Girl's Night at Jukio's Barrio and then going to see Young Victoria, which was an amazing movie!

Tobaganning was fun, but didn't last very long since Jayna started getting frostbite on her cheeks.

Christmas Day

The tradition for Gibb's family is to have a huge brunch of crepes and sausages, it's so yummy! And then we got to chill for the rest of the day. It was really relaxing.

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas we were with Gibb's family. We stayed at his parent's house for 12 days. Thanks for putting up with us, I know it was a little crazy!

On Christmas Eve Jo and Dave came over. We played some games with kids, had some yummy food, did the nativity, sang some songs, and opened a couple presents.

More proof

Not like we needed it, but I have even more proof that we live in the North Pole. Jayna spotted Santa and his reindeer in the forest today. It went a little something like this:

Jayna: Mommy, do Santa's reindeer live in that forest?
Me: Do you think they do?
Jayna: Yes.
Me: Tell me if you see any of them in there.

About 8 seconds later

Jayna: What was that?
Me: What?
Jayna: I saw a reindeer, Santa's reindeer is in the forest! And Santa's there too. He's coming over here to give us our presents! He got me the Cinderella with the sparkly bottle, and a book!! Look Mommy, Santa is sitting right here beside me!

She was in heaven and I was playing right along. If she gets that excited about pretending to get what she asked for from Santa, I can't wait to see her reaction when she really gets it Christmas morning. 10 more days, I can't wait!!

Hello Handsome! (starts nursery in 11 days! but who's counting...)

Christmas is in the air, and we're loving it! Movies, baking, treats, carols, lights, wrapping presents, does it get any better than this? Can I just freeze time for our little family for a few more months? I love this stage of our life!
