Valentine's Day

 For Valentine's Day at preschool Jayna got to decorate a special box to get all her valentine's from her friends.

I had a leftover mini cake from making cupcakes for preschool so I let Jayna go to town decorating it however she wanted to. She loved this, she definitely has a creative side.

Fancy Hair

 Jayna's hair is SO long. I don't know what to do with it sometimes. These braids look kind of cute and they stay in for a couple days.

 

And then she gets to have cute "fancy" hair after, win-win!

Valentine Buddies!

These 2 were meant to be brother and sister! They love each other and get along so well. I say this all the time, but I really hope they're always close like this. They're so luck to have each other and the relationship that they do!

Go Huskies!

We had a really fun night out with the family. We went and watched a Huskies volleyball game at Keyano college. The kids sat through it really well and were totally into it.

February Fun!

 Gibb set up the tent for the kids to play in so we had a little "sleepover"/dance party one morning. Good times!

LIttle sidekicks

I like having these 2 as my little sidekicks. They love going out with me and are usually up for anything. They get along and are usually happy and easygoing when we're out. We have some fun times together! Tonight after dance we didn't feel like going home. Gibb was still working and we were sick of being home. So we stopped in at the Keyano indoor playground for a bit and killed some time. They were having so much fun together!

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and have already felt this baby moving!
We're so excited, August can't come soon enough!

Anything you can do I can do better...

Last week I was pretty proud of myself when I did this with the kids. But then yesterday and today has been pretty warm (above zero!!!) and Kepler was so sad because "Pop-pop Wendy's head fell off". So Gibb took the kids outside to fix it...
and built a larger than life version of Pop-pop Wendy instead!
This is why I leave the snowman making to him.

Star of the Day!

Jayna was Star of the Day at preschool today. She's done this a couple times before, but today she was extra excited for it. The colour of the month is pink and she loves how everything in the room is decorated in pink. And today was wear the colour day too, so she got to get decked out in her favourite colour and she decided to bring something pink in too. When you're Star of the Day you get to be the special helper and then you get to bring something in for show and tell.

You put it in a box and then all the kids ask questions to try and guess what it is.

Then after they guess you tell everyone about what you brought and pass it around so everyone can see it.

Jayna brought in her pink bunny that she's had since she was a baby, and usually sleeps with. Up until this morning her name has always been "bunny", but as of today when the teacher asked, her name is now "headband".

Luckily Kepler and I got back to pick Jayna up a little early today and then one of the other moms offered to watch Kepler so I could go in and see. It was so cute seeing her do her thing in preschool.
