It's Official!

 We made a pretty solid effort with the soother last month, I really thought we might have a soother baby this time. But the thumb won out...again! It's hilarious to me that all our kids are thumb suckers. But it's just SO cute, and the help with sleeping through the night really doesn't hurt either. 

  

Blessing Dress

Keira's blessing was in the summer, but I wanted some pictures of just her in her dress. I love that both girls wore this dress that my made, such a special tradition!

Wizzy

Jayna and Kepler have been playing with the black cat named "Wizzy" since the summer. My best guess at where his name came from is that they were always asking "where is he?". He comes to our backyard pretty often and every time they see him out there they run outside to pet and play with him.

The Three Amigos

Siblings are the best! I really hope they will always be best friends.

My Birthday

 Getting treated like a princess on my 31st birthday! The kids love doing breakfast in bed.

Love the cake Gibb let the kids decorate for me. They felt so special and proud! 

It was a nice family day and a break from regular life and responsibilities, no complaints from me!

Thanksgiving

We had a pretty low key Thanksgiving this year, very nice and relaxing. We got to spend some time with Morgan, the kids just love her! And the weather was beautiful so we got some park time in too. Can't ask for better than that. We feel so grateful for our healthy family and blessed life. 

Swimming!

 We took Keira swimming for the first time today, and she liked it! She's our first baby to actually like swimming the first time, Jayna and Kepler both cried. I was surprised since she definitely does not like bath time. Jayna liked showing her how to swim and Kepler liked giving her a ride by "pulling" her behind his toy boat.

She was pretty serious the whole time, but she lasted 30 minutes! Hooray for warm water at Mac Island! We had to sneak these pictures since you're not allowed to take any pictures at the pool. It was totally worth it, and we didn't get caught. :)

Edmonton

We went down to Edmonton for the week-end so that Gibb could go to the Dental Conference. Gibb's whole family ended up having to go out of town that week-end, so we barely got to see them at all.

While Gibb was at his conference the kids and I got to spend a whole day hanging out with Lindsay, Cohen and Ivy!! It was SO fun, and sad all at the same time. We miss them!

 Of course we spent some time at WEM, shopping and playing

We were excited to take Keira over to meet Great Grandma and go for her first swim, but then we found out that morning that she had shingles. So I just dropped Gibb off with Jayna and Kepler instead.

We also got to spend a whole evening with the Olsen's, literally. Me and my kids crashed at their house until about 10 pm while Gibb and Dave were at Priesthood and out for ice cream. Luckily the kids played great together and it was so fun to see them again!

Keira was so good this whole trip. She traveled really well and when we were packing up and getting ready to go I laid her down on her blanket for tummy time for a while, and when I came back she was fast asleep.

 The timing of our trip was perfect, the leaves were so beautiful on the drive home!

 

 

 Both kids were exhausted and slept for almost half the drive home.

These pictures make me laugh because you can tell they were just sucking their thumbs when their mouths are still wide open.
