Our friends the McCoy's gave us an Elf on the Shelf this year. We're all really excited about this new tradition. Jayna and Kepler named him Star. He's only been here for 2 days, but he's already very loved by everyone!

awwww! I love all the pictures! and I have the same star for MY tree! and I LOVE the calender idea... when Milo is old enough (so... next year?) I'm going to do something just like it!
What a cute idea for the advent calender! love it! LOVE the elf too. I really want to get one for my kids. Maybe it'll help with the chaos ;)
That elf on the shelf is adorable, I want one! I haven't been excited about putting up decorations yet, probably because I am thinking about having to take them all down. But looking at your blog has inspired me to do it tomorrow!...or the next day...or the next day.
