We've been having the worst weather the last few weeks, tons of rain and not very hot. Last week-end the high for the day was 10C. Jayna keeps asking me if we can have hot chocolate to warm up. It doesn't even really feel like summer anymore. It's kind of depressing to be honest, but since no one really wants to hear about that, here are the couple times we were able to enjoy the storms.
One of the only good things about living in a construction zone
There was a huge thunder storm and it hailed so much it looked like it had snowed. Kepler and Jayna were both scared of the storm. Kepler wouldn't let me put him down or open the door because he was scared the storm would come inside. He kept saying "Mommy, I scared of thunder!"

I LOVE the mud puddle pictures...especially the one of Kepler sitting in it. I can't decide if he's about to cry, or if he's yelling about how awesome being in the mud is! :) We didn't get ANY hail at our house yesterday...weird hey? Just crazy rain. We filled the sink with snow a couple of times last year when we didn't feel like bundling Cohen up to go outside. It's good times! And to further add to the longest comment of my life...cute snowboarding pics, too! I'm impressed that your kids even know what snowboarding is! :)
I am glad I wasn't the only one to catch the hail on camera, it was crazy eh!? Kepler in the puddle is priceless and Jayna's face is friggin hilarious!! Ya the weather pretty much sucks.
I love all the action shots! So fun! Except, I would think that it would be "bad" to live in a construction zone BECAUSE of all the mud, ...I'd rather them play in "clean" puddles! Haha!
And what a cute face Jayna makes! Love it! Can't wait to hang out tomorrow!
It has been a crappy summer...too much rain and not warm enough! That means we should get our real summer now until December right...right? I love the capture of Jayne jumping in the puddles!
ack... Fort Mac! Yikes. I'm so sorry summer is already over for you guys. boo. Just keep remembering that one day you'll get out of there!! forever!!
Ha! did kepler fall in?! Those puddles are amazing and Zach really wants to come visit now!Ft. Mcmurray IS heaven! :) You lucky duck for living there!
It looks like fun playing in all the mud puddles! Kepler is so cute sitting in the water! Jayna's newest face is hilarious - so glad you caught it on camera!
