September

A random update for the month...

Kepler loves books right now, he wants me to read to him all the time, and sometimes he'll let Jayna read to him
Some of his favourites right now are: Goodnight Moon, That's not my Penguin, Each Peach Pear Plum, Five Little Monkeys, Hey! Wake up!, Oh my Oh my Oh Dinosaurs, There's a Wocket in my Pocket, The Very Hungry Caterpillar... okay I'll stop listing now, he basically loves all books and he pretty much has most of them memorized

And Jayna latest love is money! She got a $10 bill from Great Grandpa and Grandma Jensen for her birthday and I think that re-fueled the obsession. She's been doing pretty good at saving it up to buy things she really wants, but then again when does a 4 year old ever have a chance to spend money.

September 16 was a sad day...
it snowed :(
BUT it didn't stick and it's been gorgeous out this week
AND I love this pic of the kids watching the first snowfall

Jayna asserting her independence

Kepler sitting on the potty (nowhere near potty training him, just sitting for now)

A package from Grandma Kathy and the Hills, so exciting

Kepler loving his new jammies from Grandma Kathy

Kepler climbed onto the counter and was singing Happy Birthday to himself and then blowing out the candles, over and over

Best Happy Meal Toy Ever!Kepler has not let this skateboard out of his hands for more than a couple minutes since last Saturday, yes he even slept with it most nights. And one night he woke up crying because he couldn't find it in his crib. In his own words "Skateboard best friend!"

So, I have to comment simply because of the skateboard. Jacob saw one another kid had when we were at the playground a few weeks ago. I had no idea where it came from but Jacob really wanted one. Then this past week my VT-ers were here and one of the kids left a skateboard behind. Jacob has claimed it as his own! At least I now know where to go to get him his own...they are pretty cool toys though :)

Everyone looks like they are doing well. Sorry it's snowing there already, but you know, you do live way up north :) (we're enjoying low 70s and low humidity...sorry to rub it in!)

Hooray for the updates! I love:
1) Kepler in his tutu watching the snow
2) Kepler with his library program boat, watching the snow
3) That you cried twice that day (shhh, don't tell Gibb)
4) Jayna's sweet outfit :)

Where are your pics of your kids in the leaves?? Oh, and I won't tell Cohen that Kepler's best friend is skateboard...he might be jealous. Ha!

Funny picture of you in front of the snowfall. Is someone handing you a big stuffed animal? Kepler looks like such a big boy in all these pictures.

Kepler is getting so big and cute! I like how he was singing to himself over and over.

The one of Jayna by the door reminds me of Samantha when she insisted on picking out her own outfits and doing her own hair.

love all these pics, and jaynas outfit is so familiar to all of gretas creations. i'm glad kepler sleeps with his skateboard because i feel better about ozzie sleeping with at least 3 cars a night.

"In the great green room there was a telephone, and a red balloon. And a picture of...a cow jumping over the moon. And there were 2 little bears sitting on chairs, and a kitten and a pair of mittens...Ha! Kepler in a tutu! :) And we totally have that skateboard too! Best toy ever, you are right. The girls got some cute little strawberry shortcake dolls and they were great...until Zach kept taking them to make them ride his skateboard! Funny!
